About the deal
GfS – Gesellschaft für Straßenunterhaltung mbH (“GfS”) is a specialized German provider of road infrastructure and traffic safety services, focusing on the installation and maintenance of guardrail systems and related road safety solutions.
GroundBirds is a group of infrastructure maintenance specialists, active in asphalt maintenance, marking and lining, traffic management and road lighting.
Finatem signed an agreement to sell GfS to GroundBirds BV backed by IceLake. The transaction supports GfS’ next phase of development and provides a strong platform to further strengthen capabilities, expand service coverage and pursue attractive growth opportunities.
